(UPDATE) TWO Marikina police officers have been placed under preventive custody for allegedly molesting a female colleague, the Eastern Police District (EPD) said Wednesday.
The EPD said that the incident happened on Aug. 17, 2025, while the unidentified policewoman and the two suspects, a staff sergeant and a patrolman, were on duty., This news data comes from:http://www.771bg.com
EPD district director BGen. Aden Lagradante said the complainant recounted that one of her colleagues touched her private parts while they were inside a parked police vehicle.
“The report I read said she was only touched, but the sexual act is not yet clear,” Lagradante said.
The victim delayed filing her complaint after her colleagues allegedly told her to keep silent.
“She was told, ‘this is just among us.’ Then after several days, the victim realized she had to report it,” Lagradante said.
